Request for Quotations – Solar Charging Stations for 24 Schools

VVOB Zambia, through the Digital School Project (DSP), seeks a qualified and experienced solar energy contractor to deliver, install, and commission twenty-four (24) Mobile Hybrid Solar Charging Stations, including all accessories, protective housing, training, documentation, and after-sales support. The contractor will service 24 government schools across Lusaka, Kafue, and Chibombo Districts.

Interested vendors/contractors are invited to request the full RFQ document from procurement-zm@vvob.org. The RFQ contains the full technical specifications, scope of work, deliverables, submission requirements, and list of locations.

Tender Submission Requirements – Vendors requesting the RFQ should prepare to submit the following:

Administrative:

• Company profile
• PACRA registration
• Trading licence
• Tax clearance
• NAPSA compliance

Technical:

• Detailed technical offer
• Implementation plan and timeline
• Proof of qualified and certified solar technicians

Past Performance:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in solar system installation/maintenance
• At least 2 previous contracts/purchase orders for similar work
• 3 reference contacts
• Experience with hybrid or off-grid systems

Financial:

• Detailed, VAT-inclusive quotation in Zambian Kwacha (ZMW) covering:
• Solar equipment
• Installation and commissioning
• Transport and logistics
• Training and documentation
• After-sales services
