CALL FOR REGISTRATION OF SUPPLIERS FOR GOOD AND SERVICES 2026/2027 

DAMNESTE INVESTMENTS LIMITED is a Zambian private company (incorporated in 2014, with operational roots since 2008) whose core mandate is contracting services to the mining industry, private enterprises, government institutions, and neighbouring countries. The company operates four major divisions: Open & Underground Mining, Industrial Logistics & Projects, and Engineering. 

In furtherance of its financial and procurement policies, and to support its Mining Project with Reliant Mining & Construction Limited (contractor to Mopani Copper Mines Plc) for primary and secondary development and support at Mufulira Mine Deeps, DAMNESTE INVESTMENTS LIMITED hereby invites applications from qualified and experienced suppliers, contractors, and service providers to register on its Approved Suppliers Database for the 2026/ 2027 procurement period. 

SUPPLY & SERVICE CATEGORIES 

  1. Underground Mining supplies 

○ Regular consumables for Underground Drill Rigs, LHDs, Scissor Lifts, and Underground Personnel Carriers (including drill steel, bits, hydraulic hoses, filters, lubricants, tires, wear parts, and fast-moving spares) 

○ pumps, valves, hoses, fittings 

○ Electrical installations & maintenance 

  1. Mining Protective clothing & PPE (head to toe) 

○ hard hats, cap lamps, self-rescuers, safety boots with steel toe, hearing protection, reflective vests, gloves, respirators, welding helmets, gum boots etc C. Motor Vehicles 

○ Motor vehicle repairs and servicing garages – (term contracts applicable) ○ Supply of tyres, fuels, lubricants, tubes, fitment and alignment services D. General Civil & Mechanical Engineering works

○ concrete foundations, steel fabrication, piping installation, equipment erection, welding, rigging, and ventilation ducting 

○ Instrumentation, ventilation & fabrication 

  1. Medical Insurance 

○ Corporate health plans for employees 

○ Occupational medical cover (work‑related injuries) 

○ Mine‑specific health insurance 

○ Emergency medical evacuation 

○ On‑site clinic services and first‑aid supplies 

  1. Information and Communication Technology Services/ Products ○ Corporate health plans for employees 

○ · Occupational medical cover (work‑related injuries) 

○ · Mine‑specific health insurance (including pneumoconiosis coverage) ○ · Emergency medical evacuation 

○ · On‑site clinic services and first‑aid supplies 

  1. Office furniture and supplies 

○ Desks, chairs, filing cabinets, and workstations 

○ Stationery (paper, pens, folders, printers) 

○ Office equipment (printers, copiers, shredders) 

○ IT accessories (keyboards, mice, cables) 

○ Cleaning and pantry supplies 

  1. Travel Services 

○ Travel Agency (Local and International air travel) 

○ Visa and travel document assistance 

○ Travel itinerary planning 

  1. General Supplies and Services 

○ T-Shirts & Corporate Shirts – (term contracts applicable) 

○ Courier Services – (term contracts applicable) 

○ Advertising and Insurance 

○ Printing: Graphic design and digital printing 

○ Stationery and other consumables 

○ Supply of mineral water – (term contracts applicable)

MANDATORY DOCUMENTATION

  • Certificate of Incorporation (Private Company Limited by Shares 
  1. Tax Compliance (ZRA) 
  • Valid Tax Clearance Certificate 
  • TPIN Certificate 
  • VAT Registration Certificate (where applicable) 
  1. Statutory & Regulatory 
  • NAPSA Compliance Certificate 
  • Workers’ Compensation Fund Control Board Certificate 
  • NCC Registration Certificate (Grade & Category) 
  • ERB Engineering Registration (for mechanical/electrical works) 
  • Valid Municipal / Business Trading License 
  1. Technical & Past Performance 
  • Company profile 
  • List of similar contracts/ Trade (with LPOs or completion certificates) 
  • Proof of equipment ownership/lease (for works categories) 
  • Quality Policy / ISO certification (if any) 
  1. Integrity & Other Declarations 
  • ZPPA Supplier Registration Number (if already registered)) 
  • Declaration of non‑collusion and conflict of interest

  • Registration does not guarantee any purchase order or contract. 
  • DAMNESTE INVESTMENTS LIMITED reserves the right to reject any application that does not meet ZPPA minimum requirements. 
  • Suppliers may be subjected to a site visit or interview before final approval. ● Fraudulent or forged documents will lead to automatic disqualification and reporting to ZPPA.
