Zambia Airports Corporation Limited (ZACL) is responsible for the development, maintenance and management of Zambia’s four designated international airports, seven provincial airports, and three strategic aerodromes, along with air navigation services nationwide. Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula International Airport (HMNIA) in Livingstone, Zambia’s tourism capital and a leading MICE destination, serves as a critical gateway to the Mosi-oa-Tunya (Victoria Falls) UNESCO World Heritage Site.

ZACL now invites eligible and reputable applicants with the technical, financial and operational capacity to prequalify for the design, financing, construction, furnishing and management of a hotel, commercial/retail facility, housing/apartments development, golf course, and convention centre at HMNIA. The successful firm will be expected to deliver world-class facilities aligned with international standards that complement the airport environment and strengthen Livingstone’s position as a regional tourism and MICE destination. Prequalification will be conducted under the Zambia Public Procurement Act of 2020 and Public Procurement Regulations of 2022, open to international, local and citizen companies, though international and local firms must partner with citizen companies; joint ventures are also permitted.
