Zambia Airports Corporation Limited (ZACL) is responsible for the development, maintenance and management of Zambia’s international airports, provincial airports, strategic aerodromes and air navigation services. Mfuwe International Airport, located in Eastern Province, is a premier tourism gateway serving South Luangwa National Park, renowned for its high concentration of leopards, elephant herds, and hippo and crocodile populations along the Luangwa River.

ZACL invites eligible and reputable applicants with the technical, financial and operational capacity to prequalify for the design, financing, construction, furnishing and management of a safari lodge, conferencing facility, shopping facility, and housing development at Mfuwe International Airport. The successful firm will be expected to deliver world-class commercial facilities aligned with international standards that complement the airport environment and support Mfuwe’s position as a leading regional tourism and MICE destination.

Prequalification follows the Zambia Public Procurement Act of 2020 and Public Procurement Regulations of 2022, open to international, local and citizen companies, with international and local firms required to partner with citizen companies; joint ventures are permitted to enhance expertise.
