Tender for social economic survey for Kapiri Mposhi Project for Zambia Cargo and Logistics Limited

Zambia Cargo and Logistics Limited (ZCL) is a regional logistics service provider wholly owned by the Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ) through the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC), with terminals in Tanzania (Dar es Salaam), Walvis Bay (Namibia) and an operating centre in Ndola. ZCL invites qualified and experienced consulting firms to undertake a Social Economic Survey for the Kapiri Mposhi Project.

The successful consultant shall, among other tasks, review project documentation and relevant legislation, conduct stakeholder identification and engagement, assess potential positive and negative social-economic impacts of the project, and evaluate impacts on local communities, livelihoods, vulnerable groups, cultural heritage, health and safety. The consultant will also develop mitigation measures and a Social Economic Management Plan, prepare a compensation plan, prepare and submit a comprehensive Social Economic Survey Report including land valuation, and present findings to the client and relevant stakeholders. Interested bidders must submit a company profile or consultant CV, certificate of incorporation/business registration, valid Tax Identification Number (TIN) and tax clearance certificate, evidence of similar assignments completed within the last five years, CVs and professional qualifications of key personnel, at least three references from previous clients, and technical and financial proposals; evaluation will be based on the consultant’s experience in social economic surveys, qualifications of key personnel, understanding of the assignment and proposed methodology, work plan and implementation schedule, and the financial proposal.

The tender must be submitted via email with the subject line “SUBMISSION OF TENDER FOR SOCIAL ECONOMIC SURVEY FOR ZCL IN ZAMBIA” to kaoma.mubanga@zamcargo.co.tz, copying hamis.maulid@zamcargo.co.tz. All bids must be submitted no later than 10:00 hours on 9 October 2026 (Zambia Cargo notes the tender notice’s closing date of 08/10/2026), and late submissions will not be considered; bids will be opened via a virtual meeting on 9 October 2026 in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend. ZCL reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning any reason.
