Tender for the provision of security services at the Copperbelt University Main Campus, MCSSOM and other external sites

The Copperbelt University (CBU) hereby invites bids from eligible companies for the provision of security services at its Main Campus, MCSSOM and other external sites, on a one-year running contract. Bidding will be conducted via the Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) System through the Open Bidding National (OBN) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act No. 8 of 2020 and its Regulations of 2022, and is open to eligible citizen and local bidders only.

Eligible bidders may obtain further information on the Zambia Public Procurement Authority e-GP platform, where the bidding documents are available; bidders will be required to pay a non-refundable fee of K1,000.00 to purchase the document electronically.

Mandatory site visits will be held on 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 7th September 2026 (Kitwe and Ndola) and on 10th and 11th September 2026 (Lusaka Campus), starting at 10:00 hours; bidders are to assemble at the Procurement Offices at 09:30 hours for Kitwe and Ndola, and at the Lusaka Campus premises for Lusaka. Bids must be clearly marked with the tender description and submitted via the e-GP system on or before Friday, 2 October 2026 at 10:00 hours local time. Bids will be opened online, and late bids will not be accepted.
