Tender for the supply and delivery of one 8×4 tipper truck (30 tons) for Chilanga District

Chilanga Town Council (CTC) is a Local Authority duly established under the Local Government Act No. 2 of 2019 of the Laws of Zambia, with its registered office at the Civic Centre, P.O. Box 350045, Chilanga. The Council has received funding from the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development under the Zambia Devolution Support Program (ZDSP) and intends to apply part of this provision to cover eligible payments under the contract for the procurement of a tipper truck for Chilanga District.

The Council now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply and delivery of one (1) 8×4 tipper truck (30 tons). Bidding will be conducted using the Open Bidding National (OBN) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act No. 8 of 2020 and the Public Procurement Regulations of 2022. Participation is limited to citizen bidders; local bidders will only be considered under the circumstances provided for under Section 39(2) of the Public Procurement Act No. 8 of 2020, and a local bidder awarded a contract must partner with a citizen bidder.

Interested bidders may access the bid document upon payment of a non-refundable fee of K1,000.00 through the online payment system on the e-GP platform. Bids should be submitted through the ZPPA electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) platform; the closing date for receipt of bids is Friday, 23 October 2026 at 16:00 hours. Hard copies shall not be accepted, and bids will be opened online 30 minutes after tender closing at 10:30 hours.
