Tender for the supply and installation of a 2km solar street lighting system at Old Mkushi

Luano Town Council is in receipt of funds from the Government of the Republic of Zambia through the World Bank, under the Zambia Devolution Support Program, to supply and install 2km of solar street lights at Old Mkushi in Kamimbya Ward, Luano District, Central Province.

Luano Town Council now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders registered with the Patents and Companies Registration Agency (PACRA) and holding a valid Tax Clearance Certificate with the Zambia Revenue Authority; other requirements are contained in the solicitation document. Bidding shall be conducted through Open National Bidding (ONB) procedures specified in the Public Procurement (Amendment) Act No. 17 of 2023, the Public Procurement Act No. 8 of 2020, and the Public Procurement Regulations of 2022, and is limited to citizen bidders as defined in the bidding documents that meet the minimum qualifications.

A mandatory site visit shall be conducted on 15 September 2026 at 10:00 hours local time at Old Mkushi. Bids labelled “Tender for the supply and installation of 2km solar street lights at Old Mkushi in Kamimbya Ward” should be submitted through the electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) system not later than 25 September 2026 at 10:00 hours local time. Late bids will automatically be rejected by the system.
