ZSIC General Insurance Limited (ZSIC GI) is a company incorporated in 2009 under the Companies Act No. 10 of 2017, licensed by the Pensions and Insurance Authority (PIA) to provide general insurance services under the Insurance Act of 1997 as amended in 2005, with the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) as its main shareholder. Headquartered at Premium House, Independence Avenue, in the Central Business District of Lusaka, ZSIC GI maintains the largest network of branches in Zambia, with representation in all ten provinces, providing convenient access to its motor vehicle, home, business and agricultural insurance products.
To successfully conduct its business, ZSIC GI often requires the services of well-established and reputable Motor Assessors, Auto Repairers, Salvage Brokers, Roadside Assistance Partners, Loss Adjusters, Surveyors, Forensic Loss Investigators and Underwriting Agents. ZSIC GI now invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified service providers for registration in these categories for a period of two years; registration will be categorized under prescribed classifications of Grade A, Grade B and Grade C Service Providers, at ZSIC GI’s sole discretion. Key criteria for shortlisting include proof of registration as a legal entity via a Certificate of Incorporation or PACRA Registration, PACRA forms indicating shareholding structure, a valid ZRA Tax Clearance Certificate, a valid certificate of compliance from the National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) or other proof of social contribution compliance, a company profile with physical address and client list, a covering letter or expression of interest, and at least two traceable reference letters.
Expressions of interest must be clearly labelled “EOI No. ZSICGI/PU/IS/01/2026: Request for Expressions of Interest – Registration of Motor Assessors, Auto Repairs, Salvage Brokers, Roadside Assistance Partners, Loss Adjusters, Surveyors, Forensic Loss Investigators and Several Underwriting Agents for ZSIC General Insurance Limited”, clearly indicating the applicant’s preferred category. Submissions must be made to procurement@zsicgi.co.zm or manually to the Procurement Unit, 1st Floor, Premium House, Plot 7431, Independence Avenue, Lusaka (manual submissions require one original copy and five duplicate copies), by the closing date of Friday, 25 September 2026 at 16:30 hours. ZSIC GI is under no obligation to shortlist any service provider who expresses interest.
